Government and Luso-American Foundation promote course on “Leadership for the 21st Century – 2nd edition”
The Regional Secretariat for Labour and Social Solidarity and the Luso-American Foundation in collaboration with the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) will promote an intensive programme addressed at the executives of the public and private sector and of non-profit institutions that wish to become better acquainted with the knowledge on the personal aspects of leadership, enhancing their leadership skills. This programme will be held at the Casino Terra Nostra in Furnas from October 26 to October 30.
Under the theme “Leadership for the 21st Century – 2nd edition” (Liderança para o Século XXI - 2ª edição), the course is entirely conducted in English, hence the fluency in spoken English is mandatory.
This is the second course that Harvard promotes in Europe, after the Leadership for the 21st Century which was held in Angra do Heroísmo last year.
The course on Leadership for the 21st Century is lectured by a team of teachers led by Professor Marty Linsky and aims to train top managers of the Public Administration and of Private Companies for leadership.
Given the great demand for this course among mangers, regional and national executives, this event places the Azores at a production level of quality courses on excellence training.
The deadline for submission of applications finishes this Friday (September 11) at 12 AM (Azores local time).
Applications must be sent by email – [email protected] – and should contain the following information in English or in Portuguese: letter of intent (one page) explaining the reasons to participate in the programme and how it integrates in one’s career, Curriculum Vitae and contacts (address, telephone and email).
