The period for the submission of applications for the Lease Incentive Scheme under the "Families with Future" Programme will take place from August 1 to September 15.

Those who interested may fill in the application forms and submitted them at the electronic address http://drh-servicos.azores.gov.pt, at the services of the Regional Directorate for Housing and the offices of the Integrated Citizen Support Network (RIAC).

Under this programme, the Government of the Azores supports nearly one thousand people, corresponding to a public monthly investment over 175 thousand Euros.
The support can go up to 70% of the maximum amount of the authorised rent; its allocation will also be made in accordance with the social and economic characteristics of each family.

Under this programme developed by the Azorean Government, the support for leased property on the "Cohesion Islands" will be increased as well as the support to single-parent families, young couples and families with disabled members.

With this measure, the Regional Government aims to contribute the improvement of the housing conditions and autonomy of Azorean families as well as the maintenance of their disposable income.
