The Regional Directorate for Social Solidarity, through the Regional Directorate for Housing, has invited regional construction companies to take part in three contract works for the renewal of houses owned by the Autonomous Region of the Azores in the municipalities of Ribeira Grande and Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Island.

These contract works are part of the Regional Public Works Charter and represent a total investment of about 137 thousand Euros.

With this initiative, the Regional Government aims to improve the housing conditions of families as well as to the preservation and renewal of the regional housing stock, thus ensuring the comfort, health and safety conditions of these houses, and the revitalisation of local economy.
