Applications for the Lease Incentive Scheme under the "Families with Future" Programme will be open from August 1 to September 15.

Those who are interested may fill in the application forms and submit them through the following email address: http://drh-servicos.azores.gov.pt. Alternatively, citizens can go to the services of the Regional Directorate for Housing, Social Security and the offices of the Citizen Integrated Support Integrated Network (RIAC) for further information on the programme and submit the respective applications.

In the context of this programme, the Regional Government currently supports 800 families under the Lease Incentive Scheme, which corresponds to a monthly public investment over 145 thousand Euros.

The amount of support can reach 70% of the maximum lease amount allowed in accordance with the social and economic characteristics of each family.
The support allocated under this programme created by the Azorean Government is increased for leased property located on the "Cohesion Islands" and for the support to monoparental families and families with disabled members and youngsters.

With this measure, the Regional Government intends to contribute to the improvement of the housing conditions of Azorean families and their available income as well as to the viability of real estate developments through the provision of dwellings for housing lease.
