The Azores Regional Civil Protection and Fire Service (SRPCBA) is going to execute on 22nd of November, between nine and 13.30 o’clock, in Angra do Heroísmo, a “2 Mass Training SBV - Basic Life Support”.
Meant for teaching the people to act in a situation of cardio-respiratory stopping, the initiative is justified by the success of the first action of the type, promoted, last Saturday, in the S. Bento Cultural Center.
Up to the 31st of October, the interested ones will have to proceed to their inscription, which is free, next to the Training Division of the SRPCBA, through the telephone 295 401 400 or the e-mail address [email protected].
Of the received inscriptions 80 trainees will be selected who will be accompanied by nine teachers in simultaneous, following a model of apprenticeship based on a complex multimedia system, so that everyone has the opportunity of, previously, visualizing the manoeuvres to execute, followed by the practices.
There will be sent to all the participants the Manual of Basic Life Support and, in the end of the action, the respective Certificates of Participation will be handed.
This initiative of the SRPCBA joins the training plan that the Prevention, Training and Sensitization Division has been coming to develop with the objective of teaching to the citizens proceedings of emergence that must be practiced and automated.
