The Regional Secretary of the Presidency welcomed, on behalf of the President of the Government, the Thailand ambassador in Portugal today.
At the meeting with André Bradford, Kasivat Paruggamanont mentioned the intention of the Thailand Government to promote a programme to celebrate of 5th centenary of the arrival of the Portuguese to Thailand in 2011. Furthermore, the ambassador conveyed his availability and interest in promoting the cooperation and the exchange of good examples between that Asian country and the Azores in the area of tourism training and related services.
The meeting between André Bradford and the Thailand Ambassador took place at the Conceição Palace in Ponta Delgada.
