According to the Community Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and the European Council, the Regional Government will implement, until October 18, an electronic public procurement platform that aims to support and simplify the entire public procurement process in the Region.
 
Registration in the platform is free and mandatory for companies wishing to submit proposals in the context of public procurement procedures launched by entities of the Regional Government.
 
In this regard, several workshops will be held on the islands of São Miguel, Terceira and Faial between September 17 and 19 with the goal of providing economic agents with the necessary knowledge to use this new electronic public procurement platform and an in-depth knowledge on the Public Procurement Code.
 
The access to procedure documents, the submission of proposals and clarification requests, the list of error and omissions, and an explanation on the most frequent errors are some of the topics to be addressed in these workshops. They will be conducted by ACIN iCLOUD Solutions, a company that developed the acinGov platform, available at the address www.acingov.pt.
 
On Monday, September 17, several workshops will be held at the Regional Civil Engineering Laboratory in Ponta Delgada, namely at 9 AM, 11:30 AM, 2 PM and 4:30 PM.
 
On the following day, the Ramo Grande Auditorium Praia da Vitória hosts two workshops scheduled for 9 AM and 2:30 PM. In turn, the Services of the Regional Secretariat for Transports and Public Works in Horta will hold two workshops next Wednesday, September 19, at 9 AM and 2:30 PM.
