A group composed by three teachers from schools on Pico and São Miguel will participate in the training courses promoted by the European Union that will take place in Finland and Romania this month.
Under the “Learning Throughout Life Programme” (Programa de Aprendizagem ao Longo da Vida – PROALV), the first training course will be held in Helsinki from October 7 to October 10, being attended by a teacher at the São Roque do Pico Basic Education School.
Another training course will take place in Bucharest from October 8 to October 17, counting upon the presence of two teachers at the Ribeira Grande Secondary School. This training will focus on the issue “School Robotics.”
It is a good opportunity to exchange knowledge and educational experiences with other European colleagues, who will gather during several days at these EU training courses.
