The Regional Secretary for Education, Science and Culture opened today an application for the submission of applications under the support measures for the recruitment of researchers who have completed post-doctoral studies in 2014 as grant holder of the Regional Science Fund.

The application will provide the research centres at the University of the Azores as well as hospital research units with the necessary human resources in order to help them pursuing their scientific work.

This provisional support measure aims to promote the integration of qualified staff in the entities under the jurisdiction of the Azores Scientific and Technological System (SCTA) as well as in companies. It is provided in the regional legislation that approves the legal of SCTA and establishes the incentive programme - PRO -SCIENTIA.

The application period runs from June 18 to November 28. Applications must be submitted through an electronic form available at the following electronic address: http://idia.azores.gov.pt email address.

This is another initiative developed by the Government of the Azores as part of its strategy for the consolidation and development of the regional scientific system.
