Government wants to simplify educational and administrative procedures at schools
The Regional Secretary for Education and Training has established the creation of a work group in order to study the simplification of educational and administrative procedures under the Regional Education System.
In an Order published in the Official Journal today, Lina Mendes justifies that decision, since the simplification of educational and administrative procedures at the Azorean schools is “one of the priority interventions at a short and medium term” of the Secretariat.
Composed by five people working in the various intervention areas of the Azorean schools, this work group should “gather and analyse the main procedures performed in several schools, with the purpose of gathering and implementing simplification proposals, reducing bureaucracy and improving procedures.”
Promoting a “greater economy and procedure swiftness in order to encourage the effectiveness and the quality of the rendered services, using the advantages of sharing experiences and good practices, which have been already implemented” is the main goal of the group.
The creation of this work group was preceded by a consultation with the Public Education Commission of the Coordinating Council for the Education System.
