The Reactivar Programme has been modified revised by an Ordinance of the Regional Secretariats for Education and Training, and for Labour and Social Solidarity.

In this new version, the Programme will provide a flexible offer of education and training opportunities so that youngsters may acquire educational qualifications and professional certification.

Moreover, the new version of the Reactivar Programme intends to provide the adult Azoreans with an opportunity to improve their education and professional qualifications, through courses which are adapted to their needs. These courses are addressed at those who wish to finish the 4th, 6th, 9th or 12th form and at those who wish to acquire professional qualification – level 1, 2 or 3.

The skills and training referential are the basis of the National Qualification Catalogue (www.catalogo.anq.gov.pt) which will be implemented at a regional level.

The possibility of organising the courses in 25 or 50 hour modules in a perspective of training through life is another novelty of the Reactivar Programme.
