The teaching position list for the Internal Special Teaching Application - school year 2016/2017 is published from today on the Public Employment Exchange - Azores (BEP-Azores).
 
This procedure determines the vacancies to be filled by applicants to the Special External Teaching Application , which may consulted from today on the online portals of the Regional Government and the Regional Directorate for Education. 
 
The survey of these vacancies is a key moment for applicants to the External Special Teaching Application, since it provides them with a more realistic view of their chances of filling a position. Hence, they have the possibility to review their preferences listed in their application in accordance the available vacancies and, if they wish so, withdraw from those that are no longer of interest.
 
The application withdrawal procedure or of some preferences listed in the application form runs until Monday, June 13; however, any other type of change to the initial options and preferences is not allowed.
 
This year's special teaching application is the last of three applications created by the Regional Legislative Decree no.8/2014 / A of June 23 establishing an exceptional scheme on the recruitment of teaching staff will fill 101 vacancies, 96 of which by teachers who have been working continuously in public school establishments for the past three years under fixed-term employment contracts.
 
The opening notice of the Internal Special Application for teachers attached to the school staff who wish to work in a different school for a period of one year was published today on BEP-Açores. The deadline for submission of application takes place between June 13 and 17.
 
Like all other applications launched by the Regional Directorate for Education, applications are made through the electronic form available at http://concursopessoaldocente.azores.gov.pt address or at the portal of the Regional Government of the Azores (www.azores.gov.pt) and the Education portal (www.edu.azores.gov.pt).
 
In order to do so, applicants should use the information provided in previous application procedures carried out by the Regional Directorate for Education, including the email address and password.
 
The application validation statement and the respective documents in digital format should be also submitted via the electronic form - the only authorised access for the submission of applications. For that purpose, applicants will have two working days after the deadline for submission of applications.
 
According to the Notice published on BEP-Açores, the provisional list of the applicants to the External Special Teaching Application - school year 2016/2017 for the integration of teachers into the regional teaching staff has been available since May 27. The submission of applications took place between April 22 and May 6.
 
The list is available at http://concursopessoaldocente.azores.gov.pt, also accessible at the official pages of the Regional Directorate for Education/Education Portal and the Regional Government.
 
Under the stipulated rules, applicants may be heard on the provisional teaching position list until June 13 by filling in the appropriate electronic form, also available at the same address.
