The teaching position list for the Special Teaching Application - 2015/2016, whose application period took place between February 2 and 13, is now available at the address http://concursopessoaldocente.azores.gov.pt.

This is the second of the three teaching applications held under the exception scheme for the integration of hired teachers into the regional teaching staff, approved by the Regional Legislative Decree no. 8/2014/A of June 23.

According to legal provisions, applicants are required to accept the vacancy by notifying the Regional Directorate for Education, within five business days, via the email address [email protected]. Applicants will only fill the vacancy on September 1.

The lack of notification within these terms or the rejection of the vacancy will determine the annulment of that vacancy. In this situation, applicants cannot render service in any public school establishment of the Autonomous Region of the Azores in the next school year as well as in the following two years school years. Therefore, they will not be able to apply to the teaching applications that will eventually be open by the Regional Directorate for Education and schools during this period.
