According to the notice published today in the Azores Public Employment Exchange, the provisional teaching position list for the Special Teaching Application - 2015/2016, whose application ran from February 2 to 13, is already available online on the official page of the Regional Directorate for Education - Education Portal.

Under the stipulated legal procedures, the period for the hearing of the interested parties or withdrawal from the application runs from April 10 at 12 AM to Friday, April 23.

According to the Notice issued by the Regional Directorate for Education, the hearing of the interested parties or withdrawal from the application "is done in writing, through the submission of an electronic form available at the following address: http://concursopessoaldocente.azores.gov.pt. In order to submit the online form, applicants should use the information provided in the application procedures.

The provisional teaching position list is available at the address: http://concursopessoaldocente.azores.gov.pt. It can be accessed through the Regional Government portal (www.azores.gov.pt) and the Education portal (www.edu.azores.gov.pt).

According to the provisions and rules of the Regional Legislative Decree no.8/2014/A, published in the Official Gazette on June 23, this application establishes the an exception scheme for the integration of hired teachers into the regional teaching staff. Last year, it provided 102 vacancies that were filled while in 2015 it will provide another 97 vacancies in order to meet the permanent needs of the teaching staff in the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
