Training on "Theatrical Practices in Cultural Mediation" in Praia da Vitória

The Regional Directorate for Culture, under the administration of the Regional Secretariat for Education and Culture, in partnership with Praia da Vitória City Council promotes a training course on "Theatrical Practices in Cultural Mediation" on November 5 and 6.
 
This training, held at Tias House in Praia da Vitória, is free and is directed to technicians and cultural mediators working in the Educational Services of Museums and Libraries, whether or not under the administration of the Regional Directorate for Culture.
 
Guided by Sofia Cabrita and Margarida Mestre, this training lasts 12 hours (from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2 to 5 PM) and be attended by a maximum of 25 participants.

Sofia Cabrita holds a postgraduate degree in Communication and Arts, having graduated at the Gesto Estudis de Teatre theatre school in Barcelona and at Kiklos-Scuola Internazionale di Creazione Teatrale in Padua. In addition to being an actress and director, she teaches Theatre of Gesture and Masks in higher artistic education and in non-formal education schools.
 
Margarida Mestre graduated in Kindergarten Teaching, Sound Design and Dance. She has guided several projects in the areas of Art and Education, such as RADAR at Culturgest and 10x10 at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. She studied at the Institute for the Living Voice in New York and at Roy Hart International School in France.
