Public works of 450,000 euro to be undertaken in the Convent of São Boaventura in the island of Flores
The Regional Government of the Azores is going to invest 450,000 euros in the preservation, improvement and qualification public works in the Convent of São Boaventura, where the Museum of the Island of Flores is located.
The deadline for the execution of these public works is three months. The President of the Regional Government of the Azores assigned the contract to the civil construction firm, Castanheira e Soares.
According to the President of the Regional Government of the Azores, Carlos César, these public works are part of the cultural and architectonic preservation policies adopted by the Regional Government.
The President of the Regional Government entrusted the Regional Director for Culture with the responsibility of initiating the required proceedings so that work can begin as soon as possible.
