The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the Luís da Silva Ribeiro Public Library and Regional Archive in Angra do Heroísmo, continues, from January 10, with the "Folhas de Quinta" Reading Club, which has been meeting since March 2017.
 
The sessions of this reading club will be held fortnightly, always on Thursday, except from July to September, between 5:30 and 7 PM.
 
The "Folhas de Quinta" Reading Club aims at disseminating the knowledge, interpreting and appreciating the works of the writers invited to the "Meeting with the Writer" talks. Participants are required to previously read some works or excerpts from the selected works.
 
Departing from the selected book, the initiative proposes a series of interpretations that will help participants to discover, through the characters and narrative construction, a philosophy of life in life with universal literary themes.
 
Those who are interested in participating in this literary club must submit the application form until January 7 at the email [email protected] or directly at the Library premises.
