The Regional Directorate for Culture, through Luís da Silva Ribeiro Public Library and Regional Archive and in collaboration with Terceira Historical Institute, celebrates the 150th anniversary of Tomás Borba's birth with a series of activities to take place throughout the year.

The initiatives will begin Friday, March 3, at 6 PM with the opening of an exhibition consisting of a series of documents that are relevant to the knowledge on the life and work of this illustrious personality.

This documentary exhibition, which will be open to the public until March 25, includes photographs, personal documents, royal permits, course certificates, certificates of exercise of public duties, music scores and concert programmes.
