The Government attributed financing of nearly 70 thousand euros for remodelling works of the seat of two cultural institutions of the island of S. Miguel - the Vox Cordis and the Lira do Espírito Santo of Maia musical associations.

To the Vox Cordis, of Ponta Delgada, the Directorate for Culture of the Presidency of the Executive granted a support of 47 thousand euros, being attributed to the Lira do Espírito Santo, of the parish of Maia, another 23 thousand euros.

Granted in the framework of the policy of the Executive of aiding institutions and activities that aim at the cultural dinamization, both financing are executed by means of program-contracts established between the parts.
