The Carlos Machado Museum in Ponta Delgada will promote another edition of "Family Sunday" to take place next Sunday, January 20. This year's edition is dedicated to toy collections.

The activity will be held at the Sacred Art Centre and features the participation of the collection's coordinator, Adelaide Teixeira, who will organise a guided tour to the pieces in exhibition.

Visitors can also participate in other planned initiatives, including the "Jogo do Museu Móvel" (Mobile Museum Game) or traditional games. They will also have the opportunity of watching two theatre plays titled "O Milhafre Sonhador" (Dreamy Kite) and "Os Brinquedos" (Toys).

These two plays, which are adaptations of a short-story by Almada Negreiros, were prepared by the students from Roberto Ivens Basic Education School under the guidance of teachers Fátima Sousa, Fabiana Cunha and José Carlos.
