Two educational visits, intended to promote the regional tourism offer to professionals working in the marketing, planning and promotion of the Azores destination abroad, will take place in June, under the promotional activity of the Regional Directorate for Tourism.

Hence, 6 members of the ATOP (Association of Tour Operators for Portugal – United Kingdom) will visit the Archipelago between June 16 and June 20, with the purpose of becoming acquainted with the product, as well of stimulating the increase of the planning in this market.

An additional visit of 12 technicians in charge of the Azores destination at the Tourism of Portugal delegations in Spain, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Scandinavia, Poland, Russia, USA and Canada will take place between June 21 and June 23 in an initiative of the Tourism of Portugal and of the Regional Directorate for Tourism.

Both actions are supported the by Regional Directorate for Tourism, with the collaboration of the Tourism of Portugal and of regional companies.
