The Government of the Azores has opened a public call for tenders for a contract to provide maritime transport services between the various islands of the Central Group.

Under the Notice of the Regional Secretariat for the Economy published in the Official Journal today, the call for tenders with a 36-month length comprises the routes: Horta / Madalena / Horta, Horta / S. Roque / Velas / S. Roque / Horta e Horta / S. Roque / Velas / Calheta / Angra do Heroísmo / Santa Cruz da Graciosa / Angra do Heroísmo / Calheta / Velas / S. Roque / Horta.

The decision on the awarding of this service provision will take into account the amount of the required financial compensations (60% ratio), the frequency and the capacity of the transport service (40%).

The deadline for submitting the proposals takes place until 5 PM, counting from the 41st day of the sending date (October 20) of the notice for publication in the Official Gazette.
