The Analysis Commission of the System of Incentives for the Regional Development of the Azores (SIDER) approved on Thursday a volume of private applications that will enable a global investment of 3.1 million Euros under the subsystem to support Local Development.
These investments will comprise the areas of trade, industry and services and will take place on the islands of São Miguel, Terceira, Faial and São Jorge.
The newly approved projects will join the nearly 30 million Euros of private investment supported by the Government of the Azores on all islands of the Archipelago under the SIDER programme.  
With regard to the awarded support, June and July are the months that have registered a greater volume since the beginning of the year, surpassing the amount of 3.5 million Euros, which enables investments over six million Euros in each of the aforementioned months.
