The Regional Secretary for Economy has been at the 5 Azorean Wonders official song presentation, in Ponta Delgada, on Friday afternoon. The song is called “Puro Açores” and is performed by the Portuguese band The Gift.

At the time, Vasco Cordeiro highlighted the association of the band The Gift, one of the most important and representative of the new Portuguese pop music, to the 5 Azorean Wonders application for the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal contest.
 
For the Regional Government, this is a remarkable fact because this event is entering a fast pace toward September 11th, date of the official presentation of the winning landscapes.

On the other hand, and according to Vasco Cordeiro, this is a very important event to the Azores, as it joins one of our main tourist attractions, which is nature and the purity of the Azorean landscape,  to the voice and music of The Gift.
