With a contractual period of six years, which may be extended to for another three by choice of the Regional Secretariat for Science, Technology and Infrastructures, this call for tenders has an estimated value of 3,150,000 Euros plus value added tax at the current interest rate.

Under the terms of the Notice of the Regional Directorate for Infrastructures and Inland Transport published in the Official Journal today, the call for tenders intends “to award a proposal to provide public passenger transport services on a regular and continuous basis on the island of Flores as well as to ensure, under the contract to be signed, the exercise of the right of first choice by the awarding entity on the instalments as qualified according to the procedure documents under the terms and conditions of the tender documents.”
Regarding this call for tenders, the services to be awarded can only be rendered by “commercial or cooperative societies, licensed for the exercise of public road passenger transport through a permit obtained under the terms of the legal scheme to access the road passenger transport activity by bus or equivalent model, in the case of foreign competitors.”
The deadline for submission of proposal finishes on November 30 at 5 PM and the opening of the proposals is scheduled for December 2 at 10 AM.
