Government introduces adjustments in the island’s boards of staff of the Regional Public Administration
The Government of the Azores introduced, in diploma today published in the Official Gazette, adjustments to the island’s boards of staff of the Regional Public Administration considered necessary as a consequence of the implementation of the new system of organization created by legislation approved in 2006.
The regional law that determines the establishment of island’s boards of staff turned out in the desertion of the essentially departmental regime that marked the Regional Administration since its institutionalisation, since 1976.
When it took effect it implicated that each one of the nine islands was starting to have a unique board of staff constituted by all the workers who work in it.
The today published Regional Regulation Decree also makes right some situations of last year’s diploma that settled, for the first time, the island’s boards of staff.
