The Azorean farmers received, by the end of July, Community aids on account of the 2007/2008 campaign in a global amount of nearly 58 million euros - 41,8 millions in result of the POSEI application and 16,4 millions in financing of the new operational program of agriculture, the PRORURAL.

On the subject of the POSEI supports, there were only for paying, in this date, payments in the value of 61,5 thousand euros, referring to processes with irregularities in the identification of the beneficiary and in the control.

As for the PRORURAL financing, with two different axes (maintenance of agricultural activity in discriminated zones and agrarian-environmental measures), there were lacking to pay, in end of July, aids to 461 beneficiaries, in a universe of 6.275.

In some of the situations at issue, the lack of elements meantime asked to the producers was detected.

In what concerns the aids of the rural development fitted by the PRORURAL it isn’t established the date of payment, only if proceeding to its payment after the respective checking.
