The Regional Secretary for Natural Resources welcomed the awarding of the International High Quality Trophy - 2013 by Global Trade Leaders' Club to the company António Mineiro & Andrade. The prize-delivery ceremony will be held in Paris on October 28.

The Selection Committee of the Global Trade Leaders' Club, an association with seven thousand business members from 95 countries, has elected an Azorean company dedicated to the wholesale of fish and shellfish as the worthy recipient of an award that aims to recognise and promote quality.

For Luís Neto Viveiros, the awarding of this prize is," in addition to being a source of pride for the businessmen distinguished," a sign of recognition of the commercial and export potential of this activity sector. "Despite the economic difficulties, the Government of the Azores believes in this potential and works towards the creation of conditions for a sustained and sustainable growth."
