The President of the Regional Government of the Azores extols the commitment of entrepreneurs in the present economic situation
On Tuesday, the President of the Regional Government of the Azores extolled the commitment of the representative bodies of entrepreneurs in the adoption of innovative measures to combat the difficulties resulting from the present financial crisis.
Speaking at the end of an audience that he granted to the Administration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Azores, led by Costa Martins. At the audience, representatives of the business sector presented proposals to complement the governmental measures that have been implemented since last January and whose aim is to combat the effects of the international crisis.
He underlined that the Regional Government has been engaged in dialogue with the Azorean Chambers of Commerce to discuss these and other measures, as it did with the Association of Civil Construction Companies. Carlos César said that "in the next few days, the Regional Government will make a definitive decision with regard to these proposals, some of which may be embodied in the documents that will be evaluated in Parliament, starting Tuesday.
