As Executive Director of TAP, he led the management of stopovers in more than 90 destinations to which the company flew, having created and implemented a global cost reduction programme for the company. In April 2014, he took up the position of Chief Financial Officer, also leading the areas of Human Resources, Labour Relations, T&I, Purchasing, Legal Affairs, Auditing and Health Services.

Besides his experience in commercial aviation, Luís Rodrigues has held senior management and leadership positions in several private companies, such as FISHER, Portugal Telecom, Media Capital Multimédia, TVI and Procter & Gamble.
