INOV-ART to place students in prestigious artistic and cultural institutions

The Regional Government of the Azores intends to promote the INOV-ART programme in the Region. This programme places students with pertinent academic backgrounds in prestigious artistic and cultural institutions.

This initiative, promoted by the Regional Directorate for Youth is, also, a series of internships for students. Its aim is to provide students with some international professional experience to complement their academic and vocational training.

INOV-ART will benefit 200 students this year, particularly those whose academic formation is related to the visual arts. performance arts, deign, cinema and audio-visual, architecture, conservation and restoration, interdisciplinary artistic studies, arts management, creative industries, marketing, educational services and artistic activities in the educational milieu.

However, in addition to the placements offered by the programme,  it will also be possible for students for propose their own placements.

The INOV-ART Programme was organised by the Regional-Directorate for the Arts and supported by the Institute of Vocational Training and Employment and by the Agency for Investment and External Commerce of Portugal. There are two application periods, the first  is open until the 28th of February and the second from the 16th of April until the 30th of May.
