The Government of the Azores will subsidise in a total amount of 197,599 Euros, the works to remodel and build the headquarters of four village councils on the islands of Faial, Terceira and S. Miguel.
Four ARAAL contracts of direct financial cooperation between the Regional Autonomous Administration and the Local Administration, published in the Official Journal today, define the allocation terms of these subsidies, which globally represent about 46.7% of the 423,260 Euros, the estimated costs for these works.
In addition to the Governmental support provided through the Vice-Presidency, the remaining funds will be awarded shall the municipalities of Horta (113,051 Euros), Angra do Heroísmo (59,975 Euros), Vila Franca do Campo (34,304 Euros) and Ribeira Grande (18,130 Euros).
The headquarters to be built and / or remodelled under these ARAAL contracts belong to the village councils of Pedro Miguel (municipality of Horta), Porto Judeu (Angra do Heroísmo), Ribeira Seca (Vila Franca do Campo) and Santa Bárbara (Ribeira Grande), respectively.
