The Government organizes on Saturday, in the Loja dos Açores of Portas do Mar, in Ponta Delgada, a traditional products tasting demonstration of the island of Flores, namely cheeses, “bolo de tijolo” and “suspiros” (sweets of the white of an egg and sugar).

The initiative, carried out as part of the weeks devoted to the products of the several islands by the Loja dos Açores, intends to keep on promoting the quality of the regional agrarian-food products.

The week of the island of Flores, a joint organization of the Government of the Azores with the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of the Island of Flores, happens till Sunday, being that the demonstration of products can be done in Loja dos Açores, on Saturday, from 20 o’clock.
