The Carlos Machado Museum, of Ponta Delgada, closes on Thursday, with a recital of free entry in the Nucleus of Religious Art, the activity “Verão com Música – música à hora do almoço” (“Summer with Music - music at lunch hour”).

With duration of 20 minutes, this recital, scheduled for 13 o’clock, has three young students of the Regional Conservatory of Ponta Delgada as protagonists, who were placed in the Educative Service of the Carlos Machado Museum as part of the OTL program.

Meantime, summer with the museum will continue with the fulfilment of game-visits and of plastic and dramatic expression ateliers from the temporary exhibition “O Retrato na Colecção do Museu” (“The Portrait with the Collection of the Museum”).

To find out the characters represented in that exhibition and its artists is the challenge that the Educative Service of the Carlos Machado Museum will put to the children who want to participate in this initiative, by means of prior marking through the telephone numbers 296 283 814 or 296 285 532.      

These activities have as main public children from five to 12 years old and they will happen on 7th, 14th and 21st August (Thursdays), from 11 to 12:45 o’clock.
