The auditorium of the João José da Graça Public Library and Regional Archive, in Horta, welcomes on the 2nd December the presentation of the “Camões is a Rap Poet” show.
The event, a performance of Gisela Canamero, will have two sessions, one during the afternoon, addressed at the pupils of the Escola Profissional da Horta, the other one in the night, at 9.30 pm, with free entry and opened to the public in general.
Identification and understanding, by the main public, of the difficulties, incomprehension and pursuit of a man displaced from his time, as it was Camões, are some of the purposes of this initiative, which enhances also the originality of the transmutation of his reflections in creative work.
It still aims at moving the public in general and, in individual, students and educators for the constant need of research for the innovation and for the creativity in the teaching-apprenticeship processes, even in sacred or considered "untouchable" matters.
The interested ones in assisting to this performance thought for spaces that allow an intimate and informal contact with the audience, will be able to lift the respective entries in the public library on the 28th November.
