Angra do Heroísmo Public Library and Regional Archive promotes Christmas concert
The Angra do Heroísmo Public Library and Regional Archive (BPARAH) promotes on Friday, at 6pm, a Christmas concert in the courtyard of the Bettencourt Palace.
In this concert, which will have Rodrigo Lima (flute), Oleg Grunko (clarinet), Paulo Borges (trumpet) and José António Sousa (guitar) as interpreters, there will be presented four small pieces of Mozart and one of Tomás Borba, entitled “Como o Mar”.
The program still includes the execution of the pieces “Tres Soledades”, which had its absolute first night in the concert that the BPARAH organized this year by chance of the World Music Day, and “Mozartella”, both of the young Catalan composer Carles Valls i Pons, who will assist this event.
This is already the fourth consecutive year in which the BPARAH carries out, with considerable success, a Christmas concert, being that for two times there were presented to the audience works in absolute first nights (Tomás Borba, 2005, and Nestor de Hollanda Cavalcanti, 2006).
