Wheat Museum
Historically, the municipality of Povoação has had a substantial influence in the production of cereals, earning the nickname of "Granary of the Island". The Wheat Museum emerged from the reconstruction of an old hydraulic mill, where visitors can observe the traditional instruments used in the harvest of wheat, as well as a permanent exhibition of illustration panels referring to the cultivation of cereals in São Miguel.
