Scientific Name Buteo buteo rothschildi
Description Breeds in forests or wooded areas close to fields and meadows. Feeds on mice, birds,
rabbits, reptiles, amphibians, insects and worms. Nests in trees and on cliffs. The general appearance of the plumage is brown on the upper parts; light brown with streaks on the lower parts, with white on the interior of the wings; a striped, square tail; strong, hooked yellow and black beak; yellow legs.
