Candidacy and training

In December 2010, the Regional Secretariat of Natural Resources, former Regional Secretariat of the Environment and the Sea, officially presented an application to EUROPARC for the Lands of Priolo to the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism. As a result, the process for the development of a strategy for sustainable participatory tourism commenced. A technical training involving all the partner organizations that compose the technical team met in February 2011 in regards to the integration of the methodology that would be implemented.
