The BEST III Macaronesian Hub team has taken part in the conference “Rich, beautiful and vulnerable – presenting the BEST eco-system profiles of the EU Outermost Regions and Overseas Countries and Territories” in the Regions' Committee in Brussels to present its latest developments in the Ecosystem Profile and discuss the next steps to define an action plan and financing mechanism.

Taking the advantage of being in Brussels, the team members also participated in the conferences "Promoting partnerships in the European Overseas - from the 'Guadeloupe Roadmap' to the UNFCCC COP 21" and "The Ocean-Climate Nexus - the critical role of ocean science in responding to climate change", for networking opportunities.
